Oh, what a night! Tonight marked the half-way point of our 52-week race series... and it was the first race of the summer of 2003! The weather was a factor as it hovered in the high 80s with plenty of heavy humidity.

Andy McCarron looked cool, though, as he finished ahead of last week's winner Matt Clark. It was great to see Wednesday night regular Charlie Salmond working his way back from an injury; it's only a matter of time before he challenges those college kiddies to a run for their money!

Cactus Pete's treated us to a tasty buffet... while those hardy souls seeking Board of Directors positions ran unopposed. Your slate of officers for the 2003-2004 season includes:

Special well-deserved plaques of recognition for their years of dedicated volunteer hours were sincerely and gratefully presented to Joe Alfano, Rich Lemerise, and Jan McNamara.
