Ah, spring (and April) is in the air: a good group of 29 runners ran, Coach Perrone brought the Rena's Run team down from Assumption, Lynn Armstrong saw a pair of red-winged blackbirds, and a John Kelley won one of the premier racing events in the world.

How much excitement was in the air? An inspired Coach Perrone was heard saying "I'm tempted to put down this box of Munchkins and run myself!" For the record, he didn't do either.
