This week's 5K saw a rather small field of competitors. (Perhaps many of you were saving your legs for Stu's 30K the next day?) Anyway the quality of the runners at our 5K was quite exceptional... yeah, that's the ticket!

• Charlie Salmond, a frequent winner at our summer-time 5K races in Orchard Hills, visited us down in Worcester for our winter-time race. He won of course, in a time of 18:30.
  
  
• Veronica Kanga beat Kim Duclos by just one second to win the ladies' prize (19:14).
  
  
• And Joe Derr, of the mighty Worcester State College crew team, earned fourth place overall (21:21).
