CMS 52-Week 5K Series Race #7

Worcester State College

I'm not sure exactly what "bloody cold as hell" means literally, but it sure does describe the frigid conditions of this week's 5K. The temperature was (count 'em): three frickin' degrees above zero!

  • Glenn Costello visited our humble road race from south of the border in Norwich, Conn. The other 18 competitors, being kind-hearted CMS types, let him have the first-place prize (18:56). [Al Bilzerian (21:04) was lead runner for CMS.]

  • Linda Usher was the first lady (23:59), beating Worcester's own Jodi Hirschman by a little less than a minute.
