That's a wrap! The Summer 2002 portion of the 52-Week 5K Series concluded this evening with a victory for Brad Fors (17:00) and a three-peat for Cyndi McCullough (21:43).

Heaps of thanks go to Tim "Marathon Man" Richards at the Orchard Hills Athletic Club for hosting our summer series, and to his manager Rose for taking care of our facilities needs.Thanks also to chief timer Jenn Gormley and numbers man Eddie Gallivan. Jim Shope Sr., Bob Girouard and Larry Morris put in lots of time at the 1-mile mark and the turnaround; Sarah Fullen provided the safety signs. Rich Lemerise contributed all the other equipment and prizes; and Jan McNamara was in charge.

The 5K Series moves to Worcester State College this Saturday, October 5 -- race time is 9am. Be there!
