Good running weather made for several personal-best times at this our penultimate 5K of the season at Orchard Hills.

Sharing the stage with the usual medal winners -- Charlie Salmond (18:17) and Pat McCormick (19:46) -- was Jim Shope, Jr. who earned third place with a 20:14 finish.

The winner of the women's race for the 2nd week in a row was Cyndi McCullough (21:32).

October 2, 6pm, will be our "Farewell to Summer 2002" race. Come for the run, stay for the post-race fiesta!
