The "Happy Moneybags" guy has graciously paid us a return visit here at the CMS press box.

Heatwave conditions made for a small turnout today. Fortunately everyone stayed well hydrated with H20 and Polar soda, and every runner completed the 5K.

John Loiselle wins the prize for best war-story, about a race in which heat exhaustion...

  • stopped him in his tracks, a few yards from the finish line;
  • gave him hot flashes while packed in ice in the medical tent; and
  • required that a saline solution pass through his system -- with proof -- before John was permitted to leave.
