Komen the wonderdog has graciously paid us a return visit here at the CMS press box.

A beautiful Spring evening for a 5K. Andy Gallivan sped through the course in 16:39, beating Orchard Hills' Dave Burgess by a comfortable six seconds. Brad Fors grabbed third place in 17:15, edging out Tim Blouin (first master) by the same margin.

Jen Laurin joined the Central Mass Striders shortly before race time, and next thing you know she won the ladies' race. Congratulations!

Komen wishes to remind you once more: The 5K races will start at 6:30pm, for the duration of the summer.
