| The cold temps brought out a good group of seasoned runners and
only a handful of those who still need some seasoning. Another
one down for posterity.
Faces in the crowd: Bill Gaudere, CMS Head Coach, led the way for CMS finishers. Randy Rheault realized the financial value of joining CMS. Randy saved a whole dollar on the weekly 5K by joining up. Of course, now the CMS Board is struggling to find ways to make up for this revenue shortfall. They have scheduled a fact-finding meeting with the people who run the Big Dig, because those people really know how to make up for a few holes in the budget! John Carey, Volunteer coordinator, cruised the course in a nice time. Lisa Mentzer, Volunteer Extroadinaire, led all finishers from Millbury. Team Westboro (aka "Webo") topped the field for the weekly town team honors. Remember: "Webos wobble, but they don't fall down." |
![]() CMS runners were greeted at the finish line by the official Valentines Day Nice Mice, a precision flower-tossing drill team. |
